Does anyone know the best way to remove exterior latex enamel from hair? Not that I know anybody who forgot to tie her hair back before attempting to paint a stucco wall in the New Mexico wind, of course.

Work cooking oil into it, let it set for about half an hour, then shampoo with a detergent-based shampoo. Brush thoroughly when you’re done.
It’s fiction. Simply write that the paint magically came out of your hair, and VOILA! It’s gone! That’s what I like about writing fiction. :-)
That reminds me of the Heckle and Jeckle cartoon in which the two birds attain self-awareness, break down the third wall, and announce, “We can do anything we want, because we are cartoon characters.” They then proceed to do all sorts of ridiculous things that are physically impossible. Very Brechtian. For a long time, I was the only person I knew who had seen that sketch, and I was really starting to think I’d dreamed it, but Joey quotes that line all the time, so apparently he’s seen it, too.
